Today was a very busy day for the dogs! This morning we went to the dog park. Scout and Chloe were both well-behaved--they listened well and didn't bark at other dogs. And they really enjoyed getting off the main trail and exploring different parts of the park. (I'm still amazed at how huge that place is!) As soon as we got home, the dogs crashed on the couch. But then we headed to PetSmart for a make-up dog-training class.
In spite of being tired, the dogs did really well. We worked on "leave it," "drop it," "down," sitting while walking, and "saying hello" to other dogs. After all that, Scout got his nails clipped. I think everyone in the store could hear him barking--he HATES getting his nails cut. After a day that was both mentally and physically exhausting, both dogs have been sleeping hard.

My Grandpuppies look like they're having a ball! Wish we had a big park like that here for Bosley.

Scout sounded like he was being tortured when they clipped his nails. I'm so glad that they were willing to do it. I'd hate to have him associate us with his distress!
