For my last night as a Chicago resident, of course I wanted to go to the
Hopleaf! Lisa and I went and had a really fun time. The bartender gave me a free beer as a send-off, and we enjoyed mussels and frites and even got dessert.
I got to talk to Lisa's boyfriend, Rich, who lives in Hawaii. (Only three more months now until she moves out there to live with him!) After dinner we went back and hung out at her place. Both of us were pretty beat, so it made it an early night. Even so, it was a really nice last evening in Chicago!
