St. Paul Winter Carnival

After the brunch on Sunday, Tomkin and I went home and got the dogs, then met up with Mark and Sissy at the St. Paul Winter Carnival, which is held in downtown St. Paul. I mainly wanted to see the ice sculptures, which were really cool. It was pretty busy, though, and we spent much of our time answering questions about the dogs. ("Rhodesian Ridgebacks....He's 8, and she's 7....No, that's not a scar, it's her ridge of fur....") The temperature was in the 30s, which is a veritable heat wave here these days. There were people walking around in sweatshirts (or T-shirts!) with no gloves or hats. My blood is getting thicker, but I'm definitely not at that point yet.
