Sunday morning we went to Tomkin's friend Sophia's house. She threw a brunch party to celebrate our engagement. It was really fun! JimDog, Pete, Mark & Sissy, and Ellen (all friends of Tomkin's, but becoming friends of mine, too) were there, and we had a great time. The food was amazing--two kinds of quiches, banana/chocolate chip muffins, bacon, sausage, fruit, mimosas, and coffee.
It was wonderful. We sat and visited for about three hours, talking politics and wedding stuff and laughing a lot. Who knew getting engaged would have so many fun perks?
