This Blows!
Product of the week to stop buying: Kleenex. According to Greenpeace, manufacturer Kimberly-Clark uses less than 19% recycled pulp in its products; the main material used is virgin tree pulp from forests. A better option? Seventh Generation.

Yikes! Good to know -- thanks for the tip, Jules.
Yikes! This company is everywhere! Since they supply all the toilet paper to the bathrooms of the entire world, I guess they cannot afford to care more. Way to spread the word, Jules!
Good ole allergy-prone me has been trying to use handkerchiefs a lot more. And that's before I knew this 1 percent business. One percent! It's criminal.
Try the Seventh Generation stuff, Jules, and then blog us a review.
Very helpful stuff, Julie!
Not good news. When a manufacturer has so pervaded market share and awareness as to widely have brand recognition ("Kleenex") used synonymously with product ("tissue") by consumers, they at least could be compelled to follow up with aiming to lead the industry in areas unrelated to sales. But does Seventh Generation have aloe or lotion for my nose?...
See how Wil Wheaton totally stole your headline? He must be lurking here. We're on to you, Wil!
I may never blow my nose the same again!!!
